Dreamz Educational & Social Welfare Trust(DESW) is a non-government organization and micro-finance institution (NGO-MFI), registered as a society and is one of the largest NGO operating in Odisha. DESW was promoted by Sasanka Nayak & Kabita Nayak in Odisha in 2020. DESW finds strength through its people and viability in its operations and infrastructure. This Core Theme addresses resources and organizational processes that enable the other Core Themes. DREAM will embrace the strengths created through diversity and will adopt and promote inclusiveness in its practices. Dreamz is looking with pride. In years Dreamz has been instrumental in carving out a niche among the community based organization and civic society organizations. In the initial phase, when it formed the first women SHG, we, at Dreamz, did not had a slightest of idea where this would lead us to, and today lakh population, Dreamz has established itself as a front runner in the women empowerment social development by bringing convergence of Micro Finance. Research, Training, Production, Marketing, Workshop, Seminar, health, social justice to women and child, textile, agriculture, rural development of handicrafts, other village industry etc. Purpose to fund, maintain, organize, run, manage, supervise, superintend, coordinate, affiliate, control, guide and aid schools, colleges, institutions, arrange, hold, conduct and guide/ seminars workshops conferences, run hostels, boarding houses, maintain and develop infrastructure for educational activities of the Trust,
food grain procurement, marketing, input supply,ration shops,food security activities such a grain banks watershed activities, preparing mid-day meals.
for livelihood promotion such as veterinary care, skills training, marketing support.
relating to domestic violence, alcoholism, child labour,gender sensitization etc.
a pro-poor pressure group for rights and entitlements.
Dream has been promoting livelihood. This effort has used the local resources in systematic manner and produced desired cost effective consumer products./p>
Business opportunities are not created by external intervention they arise from markets and entrepreneurial capabilities. The issue is to enable rural women into successful entrepreneurs and to take advantage of market opportunities.
